Egg Albumin - a protein powder derived from egg whites that contains slow digesting proteins

Egg Albumin is an egg protein powder, which is obtained from egg whites. These are among the popular sources of protein that contribute to the growth and maintenance of muscle mass. Additionally, the amino acids in this protein powder are absorbed gradually, which helps to continuously supply the body with building materials. This makes it useful before going to bed or at a time when you are unable to get your hands on solid food for several hours.

Egg Albumin also boasts a low fat and sugar content, which results in it being a pure source of protein, especially considering the unflavoured version. Last but not least, it does not contain lactose or milk protein, which makes it perfectly suitable even for people who avoid these substances and are looking for other sources of protein. A great bonus is that the product is also GLP‑1 friendly.

Egg Albumin comes in the form of a well-soluble powder, which you can mix together with water to create a delicious shake. However, it also tastes great when added to porridges, smoothies or other meals, which it will enrich with a great taste and important proteins.

I do not understand why some people complain that the protein foams. Egg white naturally foams when blended; anyone who cooks at home knows that. Because of these “complainers,” the manufacturer will end up adding chemicals to stop it from foaming. It is already difficult to find something pure without harmful additives. That is why I buy unflavoured products, so I do not have to worry about cancer in a few years!!!!! So here is some advice for the “complainers”: add one teaspoon of powdered milk to your protein, and your insurmountable problem is solved!!! There will be no foam. For me, this is one of the few proteins I like because it is not packed with artificial colourings and sweeteners. It is a shame there are so few natural products. You add flavourings (rubbish) to everything.

Solubility is very poor. The taste is tolerable. Undissolved clumps remain, like little balls. Fortunately, they settle at the bottom of the shaker, but if you try to swallow them, they stick to your teeth. They are also unpleasantly sweet. I decided to try something different, but I would not buy this again.

The taste, texture and solubility are what they are, but this is egg protein, and that is simply how it is. The price is excellent, and it is suitable as an evening protein supplement.

    Flavor: unflavored
Several people complain about how well it dissolves, but simply mix it with ice cubes, a shaker ball, or in a blender, and there is no problem! I find it perfectly easy to digest. I usually add ice cream or fruit to the unflavored version. I consider it a more valuable protein than whey protein, which is a by-product of milk production. I usually mix it with rice protein in equal parts. I highly recommend it!

    Flavor: unflavored
The bad news: It does not dissolve in cold liquid using a shaker. The result is a foamy, lumpy mess. It works better in warm liquid, but becomes even foamier and tastes terrible. The good news: There is a solution. Blended with a banana and a little liquid, it has a phenomenal taste and an excellent texture. Combine 30 grams of this with 30 grams of GymBeam Beef Protein, a banana, another fruit (lemon, apple, etc.), and some liquid—usually cold tea or lemonade—and you have the perfect post-workout shake. Because of the sucralose and flavouring, I recommend the unflavoured version instead. I give it only four stars because, on its own, I think both its taste and texture present serious challenges. It is definitely worth the money, though: combined with beef protein, it is the best dairy-free alternative.

    Flavor: chocolate
A very good product, very practical. Just mix a little powder in a glass of water, and your body gets the protein it needs. I currently have the chocolate flavor, but my next order will be unflavored, as I find the chocolate a little too sweet.
